Birds: Madrone Audobon Society leads FREE hikes around the county
Plants: California Native Plant Society: Their facebook page and local plant walks are a wealth of FREE knowledge about local plants
Mushrooms: SOMA (Sonoma Mycological Association) leads FREE walks during mushroom season, teaching mushroom ID to all levels
Animal Tracking: Jim Sullivan leads monthly tracking groups for all levels, small donation
All: LandPaths leads a variety of walks and day workshops on a variety of topics regarding the natural world, for FREE or a small fee/donation
All: Modini Mayacamas Preserve Meetup: weekly adventures at the Healdsburg preserve, led by experts on botany, archaeology, geology, birding etc.
